Yes, jumping on each other's backs is your norm, but little toad, I can seriously crush you

I walked out the door this morning to at least 15 of these little near invisible guys in my patio door track and all over the patio. They are so tiny, one hopped between my toes and rode shotgun into the hallway with me for 10 feet before I even knew he was there. Took me 3 hrs to catch the lil bastard and herd him back outside to go stick HIS toe in some other toads eye.

I don't know whether this is the universe telling me it's time to start kissing frogs again or that I've paid my dues and now I can just sit back and be enchanted and entertained by the world around me.

Toads beat the dozen unnatural bumblebees that have been buzzing añd boogying with absolutely no circadian rhythm at all, so I think I'll just say 'Thank You're to the amusingly awesome powers that be. But not bee.

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black

Hey, what's with the hate on the bees? They're just doing their job pollinating our world and spreading all kinds of good things. Just like every rose has it's thorn, every drop of delicious honey has its stinger!

    Quoting Xrorted:
The Universe gets her own way eventually. Nice to see the serious side of Town have a win . My internet's been out for a while, so I took a walk and found a croc had ripped the wires to shreds. Had a job finding someone to fix it as the government had sacked most of the ground crews responsible for telecommunications. If I was nature I'd be really mad. I'd play havoc with humans plans. I'd unlock the final seals mentioned in the old book and make waves lash against the shores. I'd salute Floridas shoreline as she slips below the waves, to say no more! Never again shall she rise to feel the warmth of sunshine. Her salty wastes expand and cover her deeds ! Thus a new prophet may deem her to bake under a relentless blue sky and make frogs burrow seeking moisture.
The universe and it's offspring mother nature will always be the victor. Two legged specks of dusty cobweb brained humans don't even register on the vast scale of things.

Crocs chewing on wire? Man, I get this mental pic of a smiling from wearing braces on his teeth!

I have a bobble head grinning gator in my living room, so I can't be anti lizard or Fla.

The toads were a 1 day event apparently. I haven't seen a sign of them since. It was funny, since at midnightish the eve before, bumblebees were still zipping around and I though 'gee, isn't it time for some new plague of aggravating pests to emerge. I haven't even seen fireflies yet and it's time for them to take over'.

And what do I get? TOADS!

Not complaining though. I was checking out the toad/frog differences at the Insectarium(and butterfly garden) just the week before so it was all good.

Well thank you for the toad and toe appreciation.

It was a total hoot. The lil fingernail sized Houdini hopped under the neighbors door after abandoning the good ship cuzifoot.

I'd watch for him to come out, try to snatch him and he'd(it has to be a HE since he was so annoying) hop right back under the door.

So much for the top of the food chain fantasy.

It's not bee hating, more, bee annoying jealousy.

There were so many of them hanging out around the wooden deck that they've actually twapted me in the middle of the forehead just going about their business and smacked right into my ass while getting their double bee freaky flying fuck, on.

It's like they were bragging that they were getting laid when I wasn't.
