I'm so glad you're feeling better after surgery! I have several scars that used to annoy me a lot more than they do now. One, on my forehead was caused when I was 5 and thought I could turn in to wonder woman. Another two are on my shin and look like mis-matched eyes. This was caused by gymnastics on the brick border along my pool when I was in 8th grade. Scars are just conversation openers. Are you finally moving up to NC???

Lots of scars around my jaw - one from sticking my head under a window as a toddler. Window fell down splitting my chin open and I bit my tongue (which also needed stitches). No memory thankfully. Second one big gap in the fascia where I had a staph infection (daughter was 1.5 at the time). Glass cut my left elbow open (age 7) - I refused stitches. Left knee punctured when I fell off a bike onto very sharp gravel. Scars from being stitched up after childbirth so tight, too tight that my vag opening was not so open until child 2. But character right?
