It definitely takes a while to get all this new stuff wired. We just discovered that the little pricks that were digging up our sugar snap pea-second generation seed plantings were two little mother fucker chipmunks. We drowned them in the "swimming pool of death" a bucket half filled with water, with a cross country ski as a ramp leading to a half filled with water with layer of sunflower seeds covering the water and looking solid. Gets the little shits every time. Then we covered the new seed planting with a layer of 1/4" hardware cloth anyway in case there's a survivor who doesn't like sunflower seeds enough to commit suicide. Details, details, details. You'll get it all. It will grow on you. In the meantime, that painting is exquisite. Like. Like Like!

Echoing the others who have commented, I absolutely love the painting. I'd love to know where you draw your inspiration from. I share your plight with plants and lawn care, I kill everything that isn't a weed and can't stand doing any of it. I am incredulous at those who think that gardening and/or landscaping is relaxing...they bring me nothing but stress. Hang in there. ~LastGuy "It's great to be here. Echoing no-one fucking else, I'm going to say... You're supposed to be the king (well whatever) in that castle... so quit your bitching, get off your arse, and go deal with it. Or get a yard crew... A shirtless, buff, make you drool yard crew... That you can order about on their hands and knees trimming your lawn with a pair of scissors if that be your hearts desire, and who will call you ma'am, or whatever else you want while you laze gracefully in your deck chair with whip in one hand and MaiTai in the other. The gardeners equivalent of my nubile and willing crew of deckhands so to speak. We are here Kim, surrounded by all this flesh that wants someone to tell it what to do... think big.

I should like to apologize. I made that comment with tongue firmly planted in cheek, and it never occurred that you'd take it otherwise. There are very few people here I respect as much as you, and I am sorry if it caused you offense.
