well first off hopefully you'll allow me to express a difference in opinion and won't ban me from future discussions..

er yeah.....but is it really that simple...

you said these protest are an expression of anger by people trying to make a change....

But you also said they are victimized by a system where their actions have consequences..???

well first off lets be honest...the woman's protest wasn't about equality.. it was made up of angry anti trump groups....

and even Obama said " elections have consequences"....

Hillary lost...the democrats lost both the senate and the house...the dems lost the the next supreme court nom. I'd be mad too if I lost that much ground to the other party

and now women turn out in droves to protest trump??? huh? where was this anger at the voting booths?

Instead of expressing anger outward perhaps these same protestors should look inward....
The DMC let the party down.. it retains the super delegates ( which kisses up to old school politicians.. which tend to white males.. so yeah it is hard for newbies like women to win the nomination), it basically told others not to run against Hillary, it did everything it could to derail bernie sanders. The DNC wanted Hillary to be it's candidate and used it's power to make it so.

You all had a chance to have bernie as your candidate....But you voted Hillary in.

So the dems were stuck with Hillary and the repubs were stuck with trump...it is the ole southpark debate " turd vs. douche"....both suck.

And let's be honest for a moment...if Hillary would have opened up the party and been more friendly to white men, she would have won the election. Yet she stayed with the dem playbook of us vs them. She did nothing to court the non traditional dem voting block..hell she didn't even go to some states.

So yeah perhaps to make a change in this world women need to start with their own political parties. Perhaps women need to start their own political party..just a thought.

You talk of Kim K etc. but once again it is a choice...Kim K isn't a woman, but rather a symbol of what women think they need to be. Don't blame Kim if women watch her reality show/Don't blame Kim is girls run out and buy her game app.
Don't blame Kim if all this makes her famous and wealthy. Your not victims.. you created this "false idol". if it isn't paris hilton.. then it's Kim.. if it isn't kim then it's kendal..and now GiGi etc...
As a man you don't see me watching a reality show about...say david beckham or buying an app that features him buying clothes etc..I could care less what this guy does with his time. I have nothing but good will towards David and hardly jealous of his life.

So instead of blaming someone from omg making money, perhaps we as a society need to examine why people feel the need to be famous/rich.. just look at f book live.. you have people literally putting criminal acts on there for their 15 seconds of fame.

I think the first step to any change is to look at ourselves.. you are not victims because you lost an election. Your not victims because you watch a reality tv program. Your a victim because you want to be seen as such..
