Sounds like a day when Australia showed exceptionally good common cents!

Terrible, I know, but I couldn't resist.

Now, all you guys have to do is go metric.
Kilograms, kilometres, degrees celsius, hectares . . .

When I was in third grade (1976 maybe?), I remember my teacher telling us that we had better learn the metric system because we would all be using it in just a few years. Forty years later and I'm still waiting...and in all honesty, I would love it...when I'm trying to figure out which wrench to use, it's so much easier when the 13-mm is too small to reach for a 14 than to go from 17/32-inch to 5/8. Fractions suck!

Don't remember decimalisation true, I'd have been about three at the time lol. My earliest significant memory is being allowed to go home from school early in '69 to watch the moon landing
