 Well Doc celebrated his birthday for a whole month this year.

Since turning 50, I have decided that the month long celebration or just doing something completely different is worth it. I used to celebrate my birthday for a week when I was a wee lass, but now, it takes more time to enjoy oneself.

I asked Mummy (bless her) if she would sponsor me for an Australian adventure in August and she said no. She mumbled something about she gets her own trips first and fortunately brain kicked in before mouth when I was going to say something about magic mushrooms.

The desert is stunning right now. Although we have had NO rain for ages and we desperately need it, the blooms have started. One good storm, and the landscape will be stunning.
