That's pretty good restraint buying only 10...i'm sure the varied choices made it hard to do... New or old, always a good day when there is future reading material on hand.. ― William Goldman, The Princess Bride

I need to know... (whispers) did you buy any dirty ones? Oh wait...you thought...I met. I only thought because they're used they might be dusty. "Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do, and they will suprise you with their ingenuity."~ Gen. George Patton

Ooooooooooooooooooooo I understand completely! Libraries, ebook downloads, used books stores, yard sales.......... *sighs dreamily and happily* It doesnt matter.......lol I buy my books in BULK! Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character. At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached. May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black. ~~ 'My place amongst the stars' c/o former member SPB ~~

Know that feeling - I have a massive wishlist on Amazon that I go to when the price is right, but also has the advantage that Xmas present suggestions to others can be made so much more easier........ I do have to think about what I put in my wishlist though - some things are better left out !! D xxx Carpe Diem - the past is history, and the future is bleak.

It is also true that egg and bullet owners need never go to bed alone! And if they have one of those very, ahem "Dusty" books that KB refers to, she could have herself a delightful time!

Ahhh it's becoming another art form falling by the wayside: the hunt for old "neighborhood" bookstores. That was a treat for me when I lived early on in the City. Wander down to the Village, find old vinyl or European recording sessions, find the old mom/pop bookstores, dust off some of the old covers, and then have a snack before riding the train, admiring your purchases and reading that first Chapter before you got to your transfer station Thanks for the memories, tsarah!
