Mm.

The lycism of a poet...

eyes open wide...
anticipation...
thinking, waiting for darkness...
waiting for nightfall...
air heavy with heat...
face to face...
FOREVER.

Evokes a sense of purpose, challenge and peace...

Well done, if only just for THOSE reactions in me, Siren

Hello Siren,

Watched you on cam for a while; wrote what I thought was some witty shit. Viewed your profile, read your blog a bit, and this is what I say to all of it . . .

You are amazing! Talented, beautiful, inside and out from what I have gleaned of what I have seen, so far.
You're also carrying a boxcar load of pain around, aren't you?
I know, it's none of my business. Or is it? People meet, well, virtually anyway, and feel things for each other. I feel you.

A little time constrained right now, let me leave you with an excerpt from Desiderata.

" . . . Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. "

Be Well, new friend

“Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.”
