Good for you. What songs on the drive by, Symphony for the devil by the Rolling Stones or something really annoying like the Barney song?

You look like you are flying a kite, but having oh so much fun. Getaways certainly makes the soul fonder. I am due soon.

Took a listen to Plymouth. Like the song and the group. The live recording I viewed has the guitar player.singer is playing a 72 Telecaster reissue. I have one and he used it quite unusual. The bass player did some unique stuff too.

In view of the fact I am gong to see them live in Milwaukee May 5th (tomorrow), I would play The Waterboys Be My Enemy

Other choices:

INXS Devil Inside

Ozark Mountain Daredevils If You Wanna Get To Heaven

No...I had the cabin for about five days as the closing was nearing. Then the final inspection revealed the cabin was not structural sound on studs. I had to decline..

I will be looking again starting next week though...

Yes, brim, I so agree. Still, that's enough. Really.

<socal native who moved to PDX after college...if my kids/grandkids weren't rooted here..(my ex was from here)..i'd be back in the n/w in a heartbeat

from the n/e pdx hollywood district...a lil cottage on the clackamas river.. west linn (had a place on sunset over looking the falls)..to the 9 acres/centennial farmhouse in sherwood up on 99W-rex hill..(last part of a 400 acre orchard)...not a day goes by i miss it

great weekend trip was head out 99w to Lincoln city..head north via 101 and circle back down 30 ..astoria..st helens etc....used to recharge myself on day trips leaving at 4am out hwy26...stop for a trout and egg breakfast at camp18 and hit cannon beach in time to go clamming ..or go flying and drop in on remote grass strips around the state...fuck i miss it

anyways..you and i have that in common..the transition from wanderlust to roots aint always easy...you have to set aside time to indulge that to sate the inner vagabond

Brim...not sure where you live. East Coast is what I thought, but you mentioned Portland recently so maybe you on the West Coast some place. The Waterboys are headed to the West Coast for performances in San Diego, Ventura, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver area. I think Denver and Portland too, not sure. You could go the Mike Scott & Waterboys web page and check it out.

Mostly songs off new album, and some really different arrangements of some of their older songs. Was an extremely good concert.

Well then, it was either the bass player from Muscle Shoals or the Organist who wowed the audience. Whole band was great as usual. Oh wait, could have been the drummer. The guitar player from Austin would have been too young.

brimmy..always a pleasure to drop by your 'hood

yea..i've been flying since i was in HS...and here i thought you read my blog

there's a few flying related posts in there somewhere

I'm kinda rooted here in Kzoo now..two kid..and two kids of my exes i helped raise..two grandsons one 9 months and one 4 yrs old

i'm pretty much the only parental figure on this side of the usa for all of them so my adventures are narrowed somewhat and showing the grandkids things to spark their imagination is a pretty freaking cool gig
