I wondered what culinary delights you were going to do for the 4th. I can never imagine you and a holiday with mundane food.

Im glad you had a good 4th too!

I always like your 4th of July posts. They are yummy from the heart and come with noodles!

*sigh* I should be perving thighs of yours, but no, Im crushing on canine safety vests

Sometimes I make a move, sorry to leave my home, but hope I will find another of equal character.
At night I gaze at the starry mass with no idea to which one the earth attached.
May'be that cute little one over there or that one that sits alone in the inky black

Late to the party here, but I enjoyed reading about you, your friend, and the noodle spending most of the day Sunday out on the bay. Great photo.

I remember now.

    Quoting  :

You're welcome. It certainly looks like that was the case.

I do fish, though these days I rarely keep anything I catch. Though just in case I decide to keep some of my catch I have cookbooks devoted to wild game and fish - including a vintage chapbook-size cookbook from the 1960s or 1970s devoted to recipes for bluefish.

There are now professional tournament circuits devoted to kayak fishing, including an extreme kayak fishing tournament that targets offshore big game fish. I've seen clips of these guys hooked up with good-size sharks and sailfish. Not my kind of fishing, but impressive to watch nonetheless.

I remember now.
