Fred........better actor than most remember. Stanwick, her pre 1955 films, nothing short of awesome. She could do comedy or the serious drama stuff.

BTW.your Oxford writing ability is notable.

This might be the first Barbara Stanwick movie I have watched from beginning to end. She was excellent. I've seen 1 or 2 scenes from The Lady Eve, but not much else. It was a treat.
