"Halloween" is still somewhat an underappreciated masterpiece in my book. I won free tickets to a premier and took two girls who about ripped my arms off from shock and terror. When we got outside the theater, they wouldn't get in the car until I'd thoroughly checked under it and in it, including the back seat. As I was doing that, I noticed that all over the parking lot the exact same thing was happening.

Before then, even with the Mummy, Vampire and Zombie flicks, nothing had ever approached a truly unstoppable villain, especially the scene at the end of the movie! It was truly a first. Last year I bought the Reissue version to add to my collection.
