Since my knee injury 9 years ago. I have had trouble sleeping. Back then it was because of extreme pain, now its just plain not being able to sleep ( and sometimes pain is still a factor).
So I used to work on lots of things for school or my classroom. Now I tend to read, sometimes watch Netflix, listen to audio book, or work on whatever handwork project I am working on, usually embroidery, knitting or handquilting. Sometimes I work on listing for the ebay shop I run for my friend. Some mights I don't get to sleep until 4-6 in the morning. But of course I get to call my Brit every morning, to make sure he is awake for work... sometimes we have some phone fun at that time....

When I can't sleep you can often find me right here. I don't bother with tossing and turning...getting up and doing something will tire me out much faster.

I write posts about not being able to sleep... or read them.
