Cloning an entire person has its ethical questions for sure, but it would be very interesting to study. My feeling is that we would learn a lot of interesting things about the nurture side of the "nature vs. nurture" speculation concerning human development, which would be fascinating. We can't clone the nurturing experience, that is going to be unique in some ways for every person, so I think it's quite possible that a clone could develop into a completely different type of person, which appears to me to pretty much end the utility of making clones.
