When I read this post, I had no damn clue what you were even talking about concerning rugby codes, so I went out and did a little research, as I'm wont to do. Interesting stuff...I learned a lot. It seems that the only rugby I've ever seen was union play, and I agree it's a much more sedate game. Rugby League, which I didn't even really know existed or at least understand the distinction, seems like a much more exciting game...you could almost say that it Americanizes the traditional British game a bit.

Who knows? Maybe one day Rugby League will catch on to what we discovered 109 YEARS AGO and wake up to the possibilities of the forward pass. Then things will really pick up!

Ugh i cant stand either rugby code! I grew with aussie rules and we never really had rugby in the southern states till recent years.

Still wont watch or follow it but i do loves me a bit of soccer! (yes i know you guys call soccer football but with 3 different codes of footy here we need to be able to distinguish between em! lol)

I wonder if there is anyone anywhere who would actually own up to liking both codes!
