I would like to say as one kinky Christian to another welcome. I'm sure you know by now this place has some pitfalls to avoid. Blogs are a great way to open communication with others on here, but you will get your share of trolls to keep things interesting. It took me awhile to decide being different was OK. As a Christian I had my doubts this lifestyle was my new beginning, but soon found people who's blogs I liked, and began following them. I came out of my shell, and exchanged comments creating communication, and a feeling of belonging. I wish you well, and hope your path stays straight, and the ground level.

Christy

A warm hug

There is NO reason one cannot be a Christian (or any other Faith) and enjoy BDSM provided, like everything else, it is consensual!

I hope you find that special man very soon....

It's funny seeing comments about religion on a bdsm site. Religion and bdsm; one involves giving up power and control for no logical reason to someone else but deriving intense satisfaction from it; the other is bdsm. The one other thing they have in common is that neither is suitable for children who should be free to develop their own minds and thoughts without being prejudiced and damaged by someone else's personal life view.

Of course with bdsm you can be fairly sure the person you're giving up power to actually exists (except on Alt when the reality may prove to be just as elusive as the many religious gods out there).

But on Alt of all places there should be complete tolerance. If people are criticised here for their way of life what hope is there for tolerance in the real world??
