The wrinkles of Life

There she was with the crow's feet stepping out of her eyes
Looking at me
The forehead aged but still not wise
Like a gnarly ould tree
She'd always have that mad look
As you passed her by
As if she'd read a sad book
And then I'd lose her eye
And she'd walk away
Without a word be spoken
I know she'll be there too today
Unless my mirror's broken

Gloria

A bit sad but a clever ditty

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw
