Flippant

During a conversation there are a lot of different ways things can happen.

Sometimes it will be a perfectly normal conversation where both parties talk on life, laughs and love - Sharing triumphs of loved ones and ones self in every and any arena life has to offer

These conversations are the ones that people have with those they trust - Sharing the triumphs in life is something one does only with those who have stuck by through thick and thin no matter what

Sometimes it will be a plain conversation - Small talk that doesn't lead anywhere with the other party where nothing in particular is spoken about in any specific depth

These are the conversations one has with an acquaintance or while waiting in line at the shops with a perfect stranger

Then there are those conversations where someone has overheard a previous one between two people they don't know and finds it their duty to comment on it

These people are normally busy-bodies, stirers, mmanagers and pains in the proverbials - People iinteract with each other in different manners and how one talks to a colleague will be different to how one speaks to a family member or a stranger

If you are a stranger to someone what right do you have to comment on something you have overheard ?

If you don't know these two people out of a professional setting how can you possibly have an opinion on the way those two people talk to each other ?

Sometimes the right thing to do is to do nothing whatsoever because otherwise you will end up looking the fool and to insult someone you hard know is very much a faux pas

A faux pas that will not be tolerated by either party in the original conversation no matter what title you have next to your name - One flippant phrase in a conversation can have massive consequences

The consequence being that now no one will trust you and you have to live with that - Tell me that you think I'm stirring and you will not appreciate my response because I shall never hold back
