I so agree with you......it is just plain rude to not show up. Yes, the Mistress and I have had to cancel "dates" but we always make contact and don't let each other hanging. She has never turned down my request to excuse me from a scheduled activity. I'm fortunate.......

Frustrating when that happens isn't it. Especially when they pop up again a few weeks later saying 'we never managed to catch up did we? Fancy meeting tonight?' or something along those lines. Like they've forgotten that they bailed.

Back in the day when ink came in bottles, phones were attached to the wall! Phoning was not possible (even if you could find a phone box that worked the other person was already on the way so not answering!)

Today? There is NO excuse.
