why

I understand Memorial Day is to remember and honour those who fought for our Freedom and perhaps paid the ultimate price...

We can mourn who we wish to mourn...

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw

It - Memorial Day as we know it - very well may pass away.Who can be sure?
And I think our culture feels compelled to memorialize teh dead in general, and soldiers in particular, concerning the 'why'.

As well, in the exasperating misunderstanding with 'Him,' I continue to feel that The Covenant is invaluable.

It works...All of the time...to inoculate us from scenarios like the above, if we'd only use it.

I appreciate your post...
