Unless you were injured dancing, it's doubtful dancing caused health issues as it's a great form of exercise and conditioning. Dancing was also beneficial since keeping you from other harmful activities.

Your body appears to be quite conducive to dancing—sensual, exotic, etc. Post a dancing video?

The book sounds like the "A Star is Born" type of pulp fiction that was popular at one time (and may still be for all I know) though, being a memoir, it sounds more compelling.

Were you dancing as a performer, or at dances or on dates at clubs or parties?
