You can block the creepy dude and the dude who blew you off from viewing your profile if you wish.

In ALT math unintentional profile views are the equivalent of intentional profile views. If a member happens to inadvertently mouse-over your thumbnail image it will register as a profile view.

Be warned: Eyeball images and snark draw attention. Trust me. I know.

I remember now.

I suppose it is the part of the price we pay for being here

Some of that could the result of "float overs," those little mini profile pop up windows that happen just by passing your cursor over someone's picture. I had someone once who was "viewing" my profile every day for months. When I asked her about it, I came to find out that my pic was often showing up on the end of the row of those listed as on-line on her main page, and she had a habit of nicking the corner of it (and briefly popping up the mini profile) every time she went to check mail or whatever. She never had actually looked at my profile page...not even once. This might not be what happening, but it's something I've experienced.

If mine is one of the culprits it may be that i use the where I'm quoted thing to save scrolling back through 4 or 5 pages to see if anyone replied or added to a post i commented on . You are right at the top of the page . If so I'll change some settings ,Much as I admire your eye , I do not wish to weird you out .

Ok, I'm laughing here, thanks for that. This was a fairly recent rant of mine and pretty frequently I am thinking all or part of it... only moved on occasion to vent it

I would not believe alt indicators. I have the same things. Same people on line, same people supposedly viewing em, most of who do not read or comment on blogs, or appear in the chat rooms when I am in one.

Me, I can't view profiles as a rule since I am not a Silver or Gold Member,

I just get F/F couples of about 25 who hotlist me and invite me to F/F/M parties. So tiresome!

I think it can be called healthy self-esteem?

So your post just prompted me to view your profile, on purpose. And it reminded me that I had viewed it before. Yes, I must agree, you don't say that much in your profile. Maybe they keep coming back for your eyes?
