I hope the Hunter becomes the hunted and ends up like Cecil.

This is so sad

My Dominant hunts and so did my grandfather and father BUT they all love(d) animals and part of it all was looking after them too.

I hope the "good" doctor rots in a Zimbabwe prison (I hear they are very nice). Extradite the motherfucker!

My grandfather would take my brother (I never wondered why it wasn't me ) out to the woods to check on animals and observe them. They would take food for them if it was particularly cold and carried these pretty heavy salt rocks for moose so that they wouldn't have to lick the salted roads (to keep the roads free of ice and snow). It was always sad when they came back telling if fawns or similar had died. I learnt loads about nature from my grandfather and father. It was a great disappointment when my brother pulled out last minute and didn't want to take the test for his shooting licence as my brother just didn't want to kill. Fair enough.

Oh and I slept for a night with two ducklings on my tummy as they were too weak to join their mother. One of them survived and the other had to be put down (by my grandfather). Many great memories in our country home in summer

I have said what I have to say on this on Katie's blog. Forgive me for leaving it at that rather than reiterating.

Nah! You didn't miss much, just as uncharacteristic rant... All over now.

But I feel another one coming on... There are new bloggers arriving who are out to save us from our sins! (again!)

But I shall hold my tongue this time!

And indulge in cheesecake!
