I semi miss the undergraduate years. But I miss the graduate school years more.I miss learning more than looking at pretty girls. As an undergraduate seeking a Bachelors degree there was more pressure on performance and more diversions like the young women sharing classes.

IN graduate levels, I was free to pursue learning at my pace. I could also elect to take courses which had no bearing on a degree. But were a pleasure to attend and learn.

I know you can take classes on line now days, but it is not the same as having the Professor in front of you, challenging you or being able to ask spur of the moment questions. To get perspectives on theories and impressions.

I suppose I am an odd duck.

I feel like i have been in a dry spell too. That is both with meeting new women and in writing.

One area of thought and area for me to write that I have been pondering is how young folks are inspired these days. You hear about the complaint of those under forty being a generation that feels they do not have to work, that they are somehow entitled to the best without working for it.. The young women who have babies for the sake of going on welfare. The simple lack of ambition by so many. These issues have been with us North Americans a long time, but it is in part becoming a major problem for employers and society in general.
