a lot of doubles here. my 2 cents. when you need help now, police are minutes away. until they arrive you are on your own. you make the choice on carry or not.

In the UK you would not carry a gun and not want to. We are all very happy with that. Same in most other places in the world.

In the US the context is different, and the answer might be different, because so many other people have guns. It would be far better if they didn't, but, given the strength of the pro-gun lobby, that change is not something I expect to see in my lifetime.

If you are going to get a carry and conceal permit that is a good thing. I suggest that any law-abiding citizen get one now before the government infringes our 2nd Amendment rights. Well as far as carrying a gun goes, if you are not fully prepared to kill then you shouldn't carry one.

Mace is a less-lethal alternative that works quite effectively in most cases. I'm not sure what your laws are in Florida so you need to check.

I say a girl with a gun has more fun.

Howling at the moon and mal ad osteo.
