Rayne

A warm hug!

I think you have explained it beautifully! We all form opinions but they should not be biased!

Yes, Transgenders can lead very sad lives and many do take their own life! Acceptance may be increasing but it is not universal....

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw

Yes we all judge and sadly it's part of human nature. In my general life i haven't had that much to do with transgender people but the times I have, I have treated them no differently than anyone else I interact with - if they're nice to me, I'm nice to them. Sadly, sometimes the body outside doesn't match the inner feelings and I have so much admiration for those who choose to make that transition as like you Rayne, I cannot begin to imagine how they feel as I was born into the right body. It is so sad when anyone takes their own life but truly tragic when someone who is treated differently because of their sexual preference or gender identity chooses to end their life due to lack of support from their loved ones and society in general

Sadly, judgment can cause such harm, maybe one day we will learn not to be so harsh in our judgments. We judge those with behaviors or characteristics that we would not find acceptable within ourselves or that we don’t understand. Some are envious and when this is the case we have to find something wrong with those who have what we want but can’t and end up judging them. Society finds many, many ways to justify their judgment of others, the list seems to be never ending.

Yes.
We all use evaluative judgments.

Just, what if I said we don't all have [negative] judgmental attitudes? That's what's off-putting, innit?
