The only problem with that vigilante fantasy is that in your father's day, in your day, as well as today, if a person chose the wrong student for a public lesson in good manners the poor judgement of the teacher would likely result in the student inflicting a major ass beating on the teacher then justifiably pleading self-defense.

 That first guy was such an ass. He will never have to worry about someone calling him a gentleman. I'm with you, though, I see the world sometimes through those rose colored glasses.
