I second this sentiment. Hand this Dom a baby and you'll be lucky to get the tyke back...puke on the shoulder be damned.

I've loved so many things in my life. My hopes and dreams. My career. My children whom I could not imagine my life. My husband. My dogs. My best friends. But all of that - every single one - pales in comparison with how I love my grandchildren. I don't know why that is. I just accept that love, when it is pure like that....is an incredible thing and only gains power and grace when we exercise it. I spent 2 hours yesterday on the phone with Thing 1 and Things1a&b....listening to my 6 yr old granddaughter chitter about going to Hurricane Harbor the next day...and my almost 4 yr old grandson talk about schooooooooooooooo....he starts in 2 weeks...well....nothing matters more than that. And I hear hear Miss Katies response too. As a man....how you see the innocent is a measure of your stature.
