Reminds me of a comical line, by someone feeling left out.. "I'm going to go back to that party and have a good time, and not that chaotic spontaneous kind of fun, but good, organized, clean fun."

If your journey isn't challenging you . . it isn't growing you.

Captain and Tennille.....how apropos ! Yes, it is a journey with so many pitfalls and curves to maneuver. We grasp each one of those and travel on the wiser. I believe striving for that outcome is what brings us the most contentment and satisfaction. Living in the moment brings out all those endorphins that make our heart race, our palms sweat, our face flush.......the outcome is our reward.

I absolutely love this post. Today was the day I was supposed to get together w/ my Dominant, but we had to delay it a day due to circumstances beyond our control. We live some 70 miles apart and are doing a long distance thing at the moment. Practicing patience is key to this relationship. I have discovered that I have more patience than the average "bear". He has taught me to go further than I imagined my patience would ever take me. Our playtime is full of chances for me to learn more patience and I adore learning new things w/ Him. Patience truly is a virtue. I thank you for posting this and reminding me He is always worth the wait.

Happy Sunday,
M.

What a great way to express such a nuanced thing. Even now when one might think I've found everything I've ever wanted....I'm still on a journey, reaching for what I want, maybe need even. I hope I'm journeying until my last breath...and then well...in some cultures....another journey begins......
