I've observed that there are profiles on here (and the sister site AdultFriendFinder) that have been visible since i joined them eight years ago. The profile image never changes neither does the ago of the 'person'.

I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to the validity of these profiles and who created them.

I would suggest that it's Click bait created by the sites operators.

If you can see more than 200 people globally using the chat rooms you are doing well.

Sadly the site is a shadow of what it use to be., don't pay to subscribe to it.

I'm intrigued by the awareness raising campaign running in the UK this month - JanuHairy. The campaign's aim being to say its OK for ladies not to remove their body hair.

I'm intrigued as to why the expectation now surrounding body hair - for both men and women - is for its removal.

Do you remove body hair because you decided to, felt pressures from societal/advertising industry to do so or because you were requested to?

New domestic violence laws to be introduced in the UK soon are aimed to target those who subject spouses, partners and family members to psychological and emotional torment but stop short of violence.

It paves the way for prosecutions being brought in cases where there is evidence of repeated "controlling or coercive behaviour".

Don't get me wrong domestic violence (unless it's part of a consensual relationship) should be punished. It's wrong, full-stop

But it does beg the question if you were in a BDSM relationship that for whatever reason ended could the sub later claim that they had been subject to 'controlling and coercive behaviour from their D'?

I was in contact with a sub on here last year who actively sought what seemed like ever an increasing level of extreme beatings (the bruising was remarkable). She also happened to be a lawyer and I asked her at what point a threshold was crossed and the D opened themselves to prosecution. In legal terms it was a fine line.

So my best advice would be to draw up a suitable contract and keep updating it as the relationship develops or be prepared, if the relationship ends on less than friendly terms, that the law might find ways of punishing you.

For a while now I've been deeply suspicious of the membership numbers the owners of this site claim to have. Today at midday in Europe there were approximately two people showing as using all of the individual eoropean country chat rooms.

If they published the 'active' members ie those that had logged on in the last month say that would give a truer picture of membership numbers rather than counting every profile that has ever been created, many of which are dormant or from spammers.

It's like counting everyone who has ever lived as being today's global population.

So the poeple who recently hacked the Ashley Maddison site revealed today that they had evidence to show that in one city in Japan it was found to have a member ratio of men to women of 88:1

Now the people who hacked the Ashley Maddison site then discovered that the site owners employed people to create fake female member profiles to bring the ratio of men to women closer to 1:1 (actually they got it closer to 4:1).

A practice I've always suspected the owners of Alt participate in...

Over the last few months I think it's fair to say that Alt has been dying, slowly and painfully. It was always a shunky site but at least the membership numbers seemed to hold-up. Now it seems that the world has moved on and the owner of the site is both deaf and blind to what's happening or is in denial that anything is wrong.

Well my cyber friends if you read this and my profile disappears you know that I too am headed for the exit...

A few weeks back the owner of this site sent out an email saying how he had re-purchased the site from the people who had some years ago he had sold it to. The email basically said, 'they were idiots, they've ruined my site, I'll make it better'. The owner 'Andrew' said that he had and would be making changes to this and the other sites he owns and in essence give it back to its users, especially those that pay membership fees. Andrew included his email address and invited people to write to him, so I did. To my surprise he replied and asked me to provide details of the failings that I identified, which I did. Subsequently I emailed other obvious failings that the sites have.

Since then silence.

Now it seems to me that in not responding to emails Andrew is no better than the people he himself was so critical about. Some people just don't get customer service and there have been no positive changes made to the sites. The one change was one to make more money...

One of the first questions I ask, on meeting someone who interests me, is 'What perfume do you wear?'

Me, I wear Allure pour homme by Chanel

What perfume do you wear?

Perfume and a smile is all a lady needs to wear...
