I believe that the membership is still a bit on the low side.
And new members are involved in established groups.
Once there is a wealth of members here, I am hoping that things will pick up.

I was an active member of Beast Forum ... along with the girl I lived with for 10 years before she passed away ... kali joined later than we did, but she was quite active too. It was a GREAT site that shutdown just after its 20th anniversary ... don't know if the owners tried to sell it, but I don't think so; got the impression they felt like "it's our life's work for the last 20 years and we don't want to watch a new owner drive it into the ground."
The chat rooms were hugely popular ... personal photos & video clips hugely popular ... never ending stream of personal stories, reflections, fears/joys, training tips, which breeds are hard/easy to train ... blogs like make sure you know what you're getting into before buying a dog: like, is a GSD too tall for kali who's only 4' 11" ... and all kinds of other How To's ... and of course Personals for people wanting to meet.
We've looked and this is s close to Beast Forum that we've found yet ... and ... perhaps we can recapture that buzz, enthusiasm and sincere love for 4 legged partners because we have the platform and membership (small though it maybe) right here.
