He said we had only one life. One life, in which we had to develop ourselves. Searching for what interested us, fulfilling our needs by any means and methods. Use what you think is needed to get off. Get off, not only in a sexual manner, but in all manners. Your life, your choices, your enjoyment. We are given help by nature itself to do so. If you think you need cocaine to get what you need, then use it. Need booze, need money, need whatever? Just get it done. I do not approve all of his actions. I am not a Satanist. I am me. But I certainly see parts of the theory that could fit in the BDSM lifestyle.

People in this lifestyle are aware of their needs. That means they are self analyzing. That means that they are psychologically more advanced than the people in vanilla style, considering �kinky� or BDSM related actions vary from the occasional use of cuffs, to severe beatings or the wearing of latex clothes to talking dirty. Concluding that a lot of �vanilla� people sometimes do things that could be considered BDSM related, without knowing they do, I think that they do not think things through as we BDSM people do.

Aleister Crowley went far to fulfil his needs. He married his �Whore of Babylon�, who was submissive to all men. All used her, he even let a goat have intercourse with her. By experiment he ate her faeces, just to be sure of the effect it would have on him. I would almost say �Don�t try this at home� for most of his actions, but I do approve with the basics of his ideas. This life for us will be the only one. Live it to the fullest. There are only two rules in his religion. 1: Do what you want. You are put on this earth to live. Some moments are bad enough as they are. No need to be restrained by rules others have made up centuries ago as an easy way to grab the power. No need to enthusiastically look forward to a better here after that nobody has ever seen. 2: Responsibility for the responsible. Other than most people think, Satanism is not about cruelty, violence, abuse, greed or sex. In Satanism you and nobody but you are responsible for the actions you take and the results those actions will have. If you feel you will have to kill, or steel in order to get your kick, you are free to do so. But no whining afterwards�take your responsibility. And responsibility for those who have responsibility. Children, animals, retarded people have no responsibility. Stay away from them.

Ok�so far an objective evaluation of the core of this group. As I look around in this BDSM world, the BDSM does not stand alone in the minds of most of the participants. I see a lot of people showing great interest in spiritual freedom, occultism, magic, gothic, black clothes, mystery. A lot of people have an urge to the darker side of life. In their behaviour, their interests, their way of thinking. They just go that extra step to fulfil their needs. A lot go far in the psyche to see where it all came from. The feeling it provides to be who they are and the spiritual state they arrive in when the need is fulfilled.
