A very good article Tristan. I think that it would do well
to remember that verbal communication only acounts for
10% of how we communicate as a species. Body language and
paralanguage, such as voice inflection, are equally important,
even moreso when it comes to judging the accuracy of what
is being said and how it is being received.
Communication is a beautiful thing. We all need to try to
do more of it.
Me and my little cutie toy were friends for a couple years
in real life. Then we started chatting online with someone
who shared our similar interests. We chatted for 6 months
before meeting. When we meet for drinks the first time,
well life has been great from there. Lesson to us was not
to hide who you are or desire.
Great article Tristan :) Maybe you could do a workshop on
this subjest at DO, since I wager that, even in that group,
it's still an issue.
