I have not lived in this city for very long, but I love it here. I don't like to go out much, but enjoy entertaining friends and family in my home. I have an older son, and the older he gets the more I like hanging out with him, and the less he wants to hang out with me. I love cooking, reading, camping, snorkeling, hiking, snowboarding, walking my dogs, watching movies, listening to music (very little rap, and even less country), and traveling. This last summer, I picked up a little kayaking bug, and look forward to exploring the sport more. History and iconography fascinate me. I am critical of most, if not all, organized religions. I do not know what to believe about "god", the meaning of life, or the creation of the universe, and I don't suppose I will. In turn, I hold no patience with those who try to convince me that they do. Still, I like to consider myself a decent and honest human being, willing and capable of empathy, tenderness, loyalty, forgiveness, chairty and kindness.
