I suppose I'm a little shy to strangers, though if you meet me, it seems the opposite.
I consider myself to be relatively new when it comes to BDSM. Personally, I view being able to place my physical and psychological well-being completely into the hands of another as an ultimate testament of trust. I want to have my boundaries pushed, and to give myself to another completely. Do not interpret that as a 24/7 Master/slave relationship, because I do not desire that. However, what innocently began as a little flogging now and then has developed into a much deeper psychological curiosity and need, and I am really interested in exploring it.
For fun, I enjoy going out with friends, watching sports(hockey and football, both kinds), going to shows(music), riding my bicycle, all sorts of games, and cooking/dining. Though I don't consider myself to be a "full time goth," I do thoroughly enjoy wearing corsets and dressing up every now and then. Otherwise, I dress... kind of librarianish. I have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science, and am recently relocated to Central New York. Currently job hunting.

My Ideal Person:
I suppose I am looking for someone who is patient and tolerant, open-minded and trustworthy, witty and unpredictable, and on the same page as I am when it comes to discovering/pushing the boundaries of a Dom/sub relationship. It is important that I meet someone who has other things in common with me as well, outside of sex. I am not interested in entering into anything strictly for "playtime", nor am I interested in someone with whom I have nothing in common.
I like fun, like tumbling around in snow fun, or dancing until the bar closes fun. I was a hardcore vegan for many years, but now I am just a vegetarian. In case you couldn't tell, I'm also a super nerd. Like.. videogames and dungeons and dragons. Oh, I was in marching band too. Yeah.
