I think dogs are for domes and cats are for subs. Although I am a Domina, and I have a rescue pug, so what does that say about me, hummmm

artsy

I too love both! Each have their own quirks

I grew up with dogs. But now I work long hours and can not be home to let the dog out as needed. I live alone, in a new City and do not have many friends as of yet.

I remember the last 7 years working in Boulder Colorado doing home care my patients would make statements like: Your a cat person aren't you, cause our cat never comes out when we have visitors. Truth be told I have never owned a cat before then...

So you got it, I adopted my first cat. He was lonely so I adopted a 2nd one!! Now my daughter calls me crazy cat woman!! My cats keep me company and love me. But they are right when they say dogs have owners, Cats have slaves!!

I guess its more of an individual thing for most...

Hmm, dogs are docile, needy and dependent on their owner,
You need to train a dog, otherwise it is a pain in the behind... for other people too

Cat not that much, although they do better when they own someone.

I like some dog species, not all.
it must be a real dog and very well trained.
heel and sit and so on.
