Fake Accounts - Save Alt!!

Over the last couple of months I have noticed many new profiles being created that are obvious fakes. In all cases they have non-sense names like "ghogulxou," "nuabalkryd," "ballazilzaki," or "doriranxst," and claim to be a female between 26-30. The profile description states they are looking for men, yet in the detail, which is always only one or two vague lines, they say they are looking for women only. Many times the personal stats do not match the picture in unmistakable ways like claiming to be one race when the picture is obviously someone of another race. For the profession they always claim to be something like a marketing executive, doctor, lawyer, grad student, musician, writer/novelist, etc. They often use the same pictures over and over, some of them professional pictures that I have seen elsewhere. Also, I can only speak for my home state, but they always list a major city as their home, never some small town or rural area. When a new wave of them appears, each profile will list a different major city. I have reported many of these to the site management, but as far as I can tell little has been done. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know what the deal is? Am I missing something? It's difficult enough to find real people here who are looking for real world experiences. We don't need a bunch of fake profiles put up by posers and scammers as a distraction.
