Polysexual is the attraction to multiple genders and/or sexes.

It should not be confused with Pᴏʟʏᴀᴍᴏʀʏ - the desire to be intimately involved with more than one person at once; or Pᴀɴsᴇxᴜᴀʟ - which is attraction to all genders and sexes.

When referring to sexual attraction to multiple genders, Polysexual should not be confused with Pᴏʟʏᴀᴍᴏʀʏ; pan- (meaning, "all"), and poly- (meaning, "many"), though not necessarily ALL (i.e., "everyone").

Polysexual is a self-identifying term that is somewhat amorphous.
As there is a wide variety of different people who use the term to describe themselves, it should be noted that Polysexuality holds some exploration in itself of gender identity and people who identify outside the binary gender spectrum. People who refer to themselves as Polysexual may be attracted to Tʀᴀɴsɢᴇɴᴅᴇʀ people, third gender people, two-spirit people, Gᴇɴᴅᴇʀǫᴜᴇᴇʀ people, plus people who are Iɴᴛᴇʀsᴇx.
However, Polysexuality doesn't have to be the exclusive attraction towards non-binary genders/sexes, though it can be.

People who identify as Polysexual may still be attracted to one or both binary genders/sexes.
