I live in Tokyo, so clearly the cultural barrier of living in Japan might seem daunting to some people. Don’t let it put you off though, it’s arguably one of the nicest places in the world to live. In terms of climate, cuisine, culture, and general scope for entertainment. Ability to speak Japanese is not essential, but I’ll help you learn. It’s actually really easy to pick up conversational Japanese, it’s just the writing that’s insanely hard. In any event, we’ll speak English at home, unless you’re Japanese of course.
I’m lucky enough not to have any financial worries, so you won’t be expected to contribute to the household income. You will instead devote your life to pleasing me.
I’m not in any particular hurry, but I'm not a fan of online or long distance relationships either. I don't want a protracted period of email dragging on for years. I would expect to communicate in written form until we've satisfied each other that the other person is genuine and worth pursuing. Then we'd move to video chat to see if we like each other.
I don't expect to be able to bond too much over video chat, because it just doesn't work for me. So, once we're comfortable with each other, I would like to meet in person as soon as reasonably feasible. This would either entail me visiting you, which is unlikely since I don't have many holidays, or you visiting me. I would buy you round-trip airfare, with a flexible return ticket, and you would come over on a tourist visa. You would be a guest in my home until you are comfortable, and then we would have a trial period of the M/s relationship. You'd be able to leave at any time.
At this point we would both decide if we wanted to make a commitment. And if we did, then we'd get married, get the visa arrangements sorted out, and get you relocated. If you're my wife, then obviously I'd have less of an issue sending you
